Questions venues ask. Answers we've given enough times to write down.
Booking
How do we book you?+
The contact form is the fastest. We usually reply same day. Tell us the venue, date, expected crowd size, and anything else useful.
How far in advance should we book?+
Sooner the better — popular weekends fill up months out. Last-minute is fine if we're free, but the rate goes up.
Do you do weddings / private parties / corporate events?+
All of them, yeah. We've yet to be too punk for any room.
Logistics
Do you bring your own backline?+
Yes — guitars, bass amps, drums, cabs. We just need power, monitors, and ideally a PA. Full details on the tech rider.
What's your minimum stage size?+
We can squeeze into about 3m × 2m. Anything bigger is a bonus. If you've got less, ask — we've played in tighter spots.
What time do you arrive?+
Usually 90 minutes before doors for setup and line check. We can be packed up and out within 30 minutes after the show.
Do you have PAT certs and public liability insurance?+
Yes and yes. Documentation available on request — most venues never ask, but we've got it if you do.
Music
How long is a set?+
45 to 90 minutes. Two 45-minute sets with a break is the standard pub/festival format.
Will you learn a song for our event?+
Sometimes — depends on the song and the deadline. Ask. Some songs simply refuse to be punked up and we'll tell you so.
Can you play more quietly?+
Define quietly.
Money
How much do you charge?+
Depends on travel, set length, day of week, and how many beers we'll be offered. Get in touch for a quote.
Do you charge for travel?+
First 30 miles from St Albans is included. Beyond that we agree a fuel and (if needed) lodging contribution upfront.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Free up to four weeks out. Inside that we keep the deposit. Inside two weeks the full fee stands unless we can fill the slot.
